China Trip 2011

My trip was very fun. We went on a plane. there were many movies to watch. We arrived in Guilen. My roommate was Elie lubendo, and we had many fun times together. It was very awkward when we went to the second hotel, because the bathrooms were made of glass, and you could see each other when you are using the bathroom. Regardless, me and Elie were very good roommates, and I am glad that I had him.

Our ministry included the orphanages, the senior homes, and the highschools. My favorite part of the ministry was the high school. The kids there wanted to take so many pictures of us, and they received us with so much kindness. I did not expect to be received so well.

The food in china was not very good... Many of us got sick during the trip. It included vomiting and the runs. Everyone except for madeline, tim, and janice got sick. The food wasn't rotten, it was just that it tasted so bad, that no one wanted to eat, and as a result, no one was getting better. But i think that this is an important part of the trip, because you have to go through tough times as well as good times.

DogHouse

Today, I learned how to make a doghouse! It was difficult at first to figure out how to make the doghouse, I did not know how to delete parts of sculptures. i learned that you can hit the delete key and it will disappear! I never knew that, and now, because of this tutorial, I have unlocked a new tool that i can use. I also learned how to use viewing tool, paint, and the slope tool. I'm not sure if thats what it is called, but it is the tool that allows me to move edges and create different places for them. My doghouse is very nice, I think that if I had a dog, it would be the happiest dog ever

Sphere Tutorial

I looked at a tutorial online that told us how we should make a sphere on google sketch. At first, it was very difficult, I didn't know what to do, and I did not understand the concept, however, the man doing the tutorial was very good at explaining and because of his easy and slow pace teaching, I was able to understand how to make a sphere. It was very fun making spheres, and a bit after, I was playing around with the program, and I accidentely made a donut when I was making a sphere. Mr Cheng made the next challenge a donut, and that made me very happy. In all, I enjoyed the tutorial very much and I think that tutorials are a good way to learn how to use things that you are not very familiar with

Media Awareness Games

I have learned that you should never give away your personal information. If you do, people can send you junk mail and can harass you. You should also never, ever, give away your credit card information, even if the game is really fun. No fun is worth losing all your parents' money! Instead, if you want to spend money on a game, you should go buy a game card with real cash from a convenience store, that way, you will not have to give away your credit card.
Also, i have learned that before I post a picture of a friend, I should make sure that it is not offensive to the person in the picture. Any type of picture that goes on the internet will never come off, because once it's up, people can make multiple copies and store it on their computer.
I have also learned that you should never meet up with people that you met online. It is very dangerous, and you could possibly meet up with someone who could hurt you. In the pigs game, the pig thought that he was talking to a nice lamb, but he was actually talking to a bad wolf, who wanted to hurt him.
If I ever play an online game, I will only talk to people that I know in real life, like Trevor. Online is a dangerous place, and I should only play with people that I trust.
